Azul Portillo is an illustrator and designer based in Buenos Aires. She received her Visual Communication Design degree from the University of La Plata (Facultad de Artes - UNLP) and then she studied art direction and visual thinking.
Her work explores themes of home and nostalgia with an inspiring youthful voice. She conveys intricate feelings and concepts through simple lines, attractive colors and intriguing characters.
Azul Portillo es una ilustradora y diseñadora que vive en Buenos Aires. Se recibió de Diseñadora en Comunicación Visual en la Facultad de Artes de la UNLP y luego estudió dirección de arte y pensamiento visual.
En su trabajo explora temas como el hogar y la nostalgia con una voz joven e inspiradora. Transmite sensaciones y conceptos complejos a través de líneas simples, colores atractivos y personajes intrigantes.
